How it works
Simple for the person in trouble. Structured for your operation.
The person at the box does exactly one thing: press a button. Everything after that follows a response flow designed around your organization's procedures.
The four-step response flow
-
Help is requested
A person approaches the Crime Watch Box and activates the call-for-help system. The unit's location identity travels with the call — no one has to explain where they are.
-
Security is connected
The system establishes live two-way communication with your designated destination: your security team, campus police, property management, or a monitoring center.
-
The area is assessed
The unit's integrated cameras give responders eyes on the scene while the call is live — who is present, what's happening, and what's approaching.
-
Response is coordinated
Security personnel, property management, dispatchers, or emergency services respond according to the procedures your organization defines during configuration.
System architecture
Where the call goes.
Every deployment defines a clear path from the box to the people who respond. Nothing about the flow is left implicit.
Response models
Three ways to run it. All under your control.
Model 1
Your team answers
Calls and video route directly to your security office, campus police, or property staff. You own the full response loop; we build and maintain the infrastructure.
Model 2
Integrated with your operation
Units join your existing security ecosystem — video walls, VMS platforms, and dispatch workflows — so the boxes behave like the rest of your camera and communications network.
Model 3
Monitored by our dispatch center
As an optional configured service, calls route to New England Security's staffed 24/7 Dispatch Operations Center in Malden, MA, with escalation procedures you define.
